ATTACHMENT 1 <br />Reciprocal Agr~eemeat <br />Agreement between theLivermore/Amador Valley Transit Authority (LAVTA) and the City <br />of Pleasanton to provide reciprocal paratransit service between the City of Pleasanton and <br />the LAVTA jurisdiction in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). <br />W~F.AS, LAVTA, a fixed route operator, is responsible for provision of <br />Complementary Paratransit Service in the LivermorelAmadoc Valley. <br />WBEREA.S, The City of Pleasanton operates separate paratransit service within <br />LAVTA's Fixed Route jurisdiction for its city. <br />NOW, 1~[iEF~ORE, BE 1T RESOLVED: <br />1. The City of Pleasanton and LAVTA hereby agree to provide reciprocal paratransit <br />service between their respective jurisdictions and to the agreements and attachments <br />described herein. <br />2. The City of Pleasanton and LAVTA hereby agree to the invoice procedures outlined <br />in Attachment "A" to this Agreement. <br />3. The City of Pleasanton and LAVTA hereby agree to the scheduling procedures <br />outlined in Attachment "B". <br />4. The City of Pleasanton and LAVTA hereby agree to transport customers clients to <br />and from the respective jurisdiction <br />5. The City of Pleasanton Paratransit Service, during its standard hours of service, <br />agrees to assist LAVTA to provide Complementary Paratransit Service to the <br />LAVTA Service. <br />6. The City of Pleasanton and LAVTA hereby agree as follows: <br />a) Escorts/attendants, assisting a disabled client/customer, shall not be <br />charged any fare, <br />b) Guests accompanying a disabled client/customer shall ride at full fare <br />n <br />on a space available basis, <br />c) Develop joint marketing materials and strategies for reaching ADA <br />eligible consumers, and <br />
