Side Letter of Agreement #f <br />City-Wide Health Benefits Committee <br />During the term of this Agreement, the City shall convene aCity-wide Health Benefits Committee <br />with representatives from the PPOA and other Employee organizations as well as management and <br />unrepresented employees. <br />The purpose of the Health Benefits Committee is to provide an opportunity for education, exchange of <br />information and input from all organizations regarding benefit design. The committee will review <br />annual plan design changes (if any) mandated by law or the carrier. The committee will be encouraged <br />to make recommendations but this structure shall not substitute for the meet and confer process and the <br />Health Benefits Committee shall not be empowered to make determinations regarding MOU benefits. <br />The Committee will meet at least annually to review premium renewals, employee enrollment, <br />utilization information, plan design options, cost savings measures and results of the City's efforts to <br />secure alternate carrier bids for service for consideration. <br />Pleasanton Police Officers' Association City of Pleasa n <br />By: BY: <br />38 <br />
