AGREEMENT FOR CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS AT <br /> ZONE 7 HEADQUARTERS SITE <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this th day of , <br />1985, by and between ZONE 7 OF ALAMEDA COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL A~ WATER <br />CONSERVATION DISTRICT (hereinafter referred to as 'ZOhI 7"), and the CITY OF <br />PLEAS~\~0N (hereinafter referred to as "CITY"), a municipal corporation, based <br />on the following understanding: <br /> RECITALS <br /> ~REAS, ZONE 7 is proceeding with development of an administrative <br />office facility adjacent to the Pleasanton Sports and Recreation Park; and <br /> ~{EREAS, CITY granted an easement to ZONE 7 on lands adjacent to the <br />proposed site for parking and landscape purposes that will benefit the people <br />of the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> WHEREAS, CITY desires additional parking in excess of the amount <br />required of ZONE 7, a sidewalk along the full width of Parkside Drive and <br />upgraded landscaping along Parkside Drive; and <br /> ~EREAS, it is to the mutual benefit of CITY and ZONE 7 to carry out <br />certain work efforts on a cooperative basis; <br /> NOW, THEREFOPS, based on the foregoing mutual understandings the CITY <br />and ZO}~ 7 agree as follows: <br />1. Responsibility of the City <br /> CITY agrees to allow ZONE 7 to design, administer and construct <br />28 additional parking spaces, approximately 570 feet of concrete sidewalk <br />between the most westerly driveway and Arthur Drive along Parkside Drive, <br />upgraded landscaping including lawn north of the parking lot and along the full <br />length of Parkside Drive.
