WHEREAS, Negative Declarations were adopted for the proposed <br /> changes covered in GP-84-14, GP-85-1, and GP-85-2; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to make comprehensive changes <br /> to the Land/Use/Circulation Elements of the General Plan <br /> at this time as one of the four times during the <br /> calendar year such changes may be made; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the application of Equity Enterprises and <br /> the City of Pleasanton (GP-84-14) for a General Plan <br /> amendment to redesignate the 2.65 acre parcel located at <br /> 4005 Stanley Boulevard from Medium Density Residential <br /> to High Density Residential, and the remainder of the <br /> subject area to be left as currently designated until <br /> the Residential Review Committee has submitted their <br /> report and the Del Valle Parkway alignment study has <br /> been completed. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL VOTE: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr and Wood <br /> NOES: Councilmember Brandes and Mayor Mercer <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Section 2: Approves the application of the City of Pleasanton <br /> (GP-85-1) for a General Plan amendment to the land use <br /> designation of an approximately 2.25 acre site located <br /> at 553, 539, and 571 St. John Street from "Commercial <br /> and Offices" to "High Density Residential District", <br /> with the remainder of the property (approximately 0.75 <br /> acres) to remain as presently designated on the General <br /> Plan, "Open Space, Public Health and Safety." <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL VOTE: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler and Wood <br /> NOES: Councilmember Mohr and Mayor Mercer <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Section 3: Approves the application of the City of Pleasanton <br /> (GP-85-2) to change the General Plan Land Use <br /> designation of an approximately 4.0 acre site located <br /> immediately north and west of the intersection of St. <br /> John Street and Pleasanton Avenue from "High Density <br /> Residential" to "Medium Density Residential" District. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL VOTE: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood <br /> and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> - 2 - <br /> <br /> <br />
