CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-158 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENTS TO THE <br /> LAND USE/CIRCULATION ELEMENT FOR THE GENERAL PLAN <br /> CHANGING THE LAND USE DESIGNATIONS FOR VARIOUS AREAS <br /> THROUGHOUT THE PLANNING AREA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, requests for General Plan changes to the Land <br /> Use/Circulation Element of the General Plan have been <br /> made concerning various areas throughout the planning <br /> area, including the following: <br /> <br /> a. GP-84-14, Equity Enterprises request to change the <br /> land use designation of 13.65 acres on the north <br /> side of Stanley Boulevard between 1024 Main Street <br /> and 3963 Stanley Boulevard; <br /> <br /> b. GP-85-1, City of Pleasanton request to change the <br /> land use designation of 2.25 acres at 553, 539 and <br /> 571 St. John Street; <br /> <br /> c. GP-85-2, City of Pleasanton request to change the <br /> land use designation of 4.0 acres northwest of the <br /> intersection of St. John Street and Pleasanton <br /> Avenue; <br /> <br /> d. GP-84-9, City of Pleasanton request to amend the <br /> Land Use and Circulation Element to add a freeway <br /> interchange to the future location of the <br /> intersection of Hacienda Drive and 1-580; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held public hearings on all <br /> of these proposed changes and has made recommendations <br /> concerning same; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on March 26, 1985, at which <br /> time the City Council reviewed the proposed General Plan <br /> Amendments covering various areas throughout the <br /> planning area and considered all reports, documents, <br /> testimony, and recommendations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report was prepared for the <br /> North Pleasanton Improvement District (NPID), which <br /> includes the GP-84-9 project, and on March 26, 1985 a <br /> resolution certifying the Environmental Impact Report as <br /> complete and adequate was adopted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this City Council finds that, after reviewing the EIR, <br /> staff reports, and all testimony, there would be no <br /> significant effects caused by the implementation of <br /> GP-84-9; and <br /> <br /> - 1 - <br /> <br /> <br />
