Section 8. The City Council requests that the Alameda County Board of Supervisors <br />order that this election be conducted by the Alameda County Registrar's Office on November 4, <br />2008, in conjunction with the statewide General Election on that date, with the actual costs for <br />said election to be reimbursed by the City to the County. <br />Section 9. That in all particulars not recited in this resolution, the election shall be <br />held and conducted as provided by law for holding municipal elections. <br />Section 10. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br />adoption. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br />a regular meeting held on July 15, 2008. <br />I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br />resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 15th day of July, <br />2008, by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Councilmembers Cook-Kallio, <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />~~ ~~~. <br />~~ ~ <br />Michael H.
