4. Compensation <br /> <br /> CITY agrees to pay ENGINEER monthly on a time and expense basis. <br /> Hourly rates for the ENGINEER are as follows: <br /> <br /> Principal $90/hour <br /> Principal Associ ate $78/hour <br /> Sr. Associate $74/hour <br /> Associ ate $69/hour <br /> Sr. Traffic Engineer $65/hour <br /> Sr. Transportation Engineer $65/hour <br /> Traffic Engineer $55/hour <br /> Assistant Traffic Engineer $44/hour <br /> Traffic Engineering Assistant $39/hour <br /> Technician II $34/hour <br /> Technician I $22/hour <br /> Senior Draftsman $34/hour <br /> Draftsman $29/hour <br /> Secretarial $32/hour <br /> · Computer -' $30/hour <br /> <br /> Project expenses will be billed to the CITY at a direct cost and <br /> include transportation, reproduction, outside professional services, <br /> and any other related expenses. <br /> <br /> Total charges under this agreement shall not exceed two thousand <br /> nine hundred dollars ($2,900.00) unless authorized in writing by the <br /> CITY based upon a change in scope of work. <br /> <br /> Monthly billings for staff time and expenses incurred during the <br /> period will be payable within thirty days of invoice date. <br /> <br /> 5. Scope of Agreement <br /> <br /> This writing constitutes the entire agreement between the parties <br /> relative to engineering services and no modification hereof shall be <br /> effective unless and until such modification is evidenced by an <br /> amendment signed by both parties to this agreement. <br /> <br /> 6. Schedule of Work <br /> <br /> A draft report will be submitted within five weeks of authorization <br /> to proceed. Preliminary findings will be completed within four <br /> weeks of authorization to proceed. The final report will be <br /> submitted within one week of approval of the draft report. <br /> <br /> 7. Relations and Duties of Parties <br /> <br /> a.
