4. Compensation CITY agrees to pay ENGINEER monthly on a time and expense basis. Hourly rates for the ENGINEER are as follows: Principal $90/hour Principal Associ ate $78/hour Sr. Associate $74/hour Associ ate $69/hour Sr. Traffic Engineer $65/hour Sr. Transportation Engineer $65/hour Traffic Engineer $55/hour Assistant Traffic Engineer $44/hour Traffic Engineering Assistant $39/hour Technician II $34/hour Technician I $22/hour Senior Draftsman $34/hour Draftsman $29/hour Secretarial $32/hour · Computer -' $30/hour Project expenses will be billed to the CITY at a direct cost and include transportation, reproduction, outside professional services, and any other related expenses. Total charges under this agreement shall not exceed two thousand nine hundred dollars ($2,900.00) unless authorized in writing by the CITY based upon a change in scope of work. Monthly billings for staff time and expenses incurred during the period will be payable within thirty days of invoice date. 5. Scope of Agreement This writing constitutes the entire agreement between the parties relative to engineering services and no modification hereof shall be effective unless and until such modification is evidenced by an amendment signed by both parties to this agreement. 6. Schedule of Work A draft report will be submitted within five weeks of authorization to proceed. Preliminary findings will be completed within four weeks of authorization to proceed. The final report will be submitted within one week of approval of the draft report. 7. Relations and Duties of Parties a.
