a. January 1st. <br /> b. The third Monday in February, known as "Washington Day". <br /> c. The last Monday in May, known as "Memorial Day" <br /> d. July 4th. <br /> e. The Friday following Thanksgiving Day. <br /> i. Christmas Eve Day. <br /> j. December 25th. <br /> k. One floating holiday <br /> <br /> 2. Effective March 1, 1982, Admission Day and the two (2) hours <br /> between 1:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m., on Good Friday shall be <br /> eliminated as holidays. In exchange for the elimination of these <br /> two days as holidays the annual vacation entitlement of manage- <br /> ment personnel shall be increased by twelve (12) hours. <br /> <br /> 3. Fire Battalion Chiefs in lieu of observing holidays shall receive <br /> an amount equal to seven and one half (7-1/2) percent of their <br /> annual salary exclusive of any overtime. Upon termination <br /> Battalion Chiefs shall receive pro rated holiday pay. <br /> <br />I. Uniform Allowance. A uniform allowance of $225 per year will be paid <br /> those fire department management employees required to wear a uni- <br /> form. A uniform allowance of $400 per year will be paid those police <br /> department management staff required to wear a uniform. <br /> <br />J. Vehicle Usage/Allowance. <br /> <br /> 1. Unrestricted use by the Chief of Police of a vehicle furnished <br /> by the City, provided the Chief of Police licenses said vehicle <br /> and pays for any gasoline related to the personal use thereof. <br /> <br /> 2. During the term of this document the following positions shall <br /> receive an automobile allowance: Director of Public Works and <br /> Utilities, Assistant to the City Manager, Director of Inspection <br /> Services, Director of Planning and Community Development, <br /> Director of Parks and Community Services, and Director of <br /> Finance. The monthly automobile allowance shall be $150 per <br /> month and payment of 21 cents per mile for all miles traveled <br /> on City business outside the Livermore/Amador Valley. For said <br /> automobile allowance and mileage reimbursement employees shall <br /> use their personal vehicles for City business. <br /> <br />K. Retirement System. All management employees shall be members of <br /> the State Public Employees Retirement System (PERS). <br /> <br /> <br />
