EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />For landscape architectural consulting services at Hansen Park, between Hansen <br />Drive and Black Avenue in the unimproved area (Phase III) and in the renovation <br />area (Phase II). <br /> <br />I. Scope of Work. Consultant shall diligently perform the services and <br /> furnish the materials, reports, maps, and so forth as hereinafter set forth: <br /> <br /> 1. Research preparation of schedule and definition of site constraints. <br /> <br /> 2. Programming and goal development. <br /> A. Meetings with City Staff (two). <br /> B. Community input meetings with Parks and Recreation <br /> Commission (two). <br /> <br /> 3. Planning and schematics. A. Compile input and prepare Schematic Landscape Plan. <br /> B. Present to city to develop program priorities, cost tradeoffs, <br /> alternatives and construction phasing recommendations. <br /> C. Includes two preliminary versions and one final version of plan. <br /> D. Includes estimate of probable costs for each of the two versions <br /> of the Landscape Plan. <br /> <br /> 4. Project Survey <br /> A. Perform topographic survey for undeveloped portion of park. <br /> <br /> 5. Construction Documents. A. Meeting with city staff to receive final adjustments to <br /> Schematic Landscape Plan. <br /> B. Preparation of final construction documents. <br /> C. Delivery of final construction documents. <br /> D. The final construction documents will include all documents <br /> necessary for the city to call for bids for park improvements <br /> up to a construction cost of $150,000. <br /> E. Consultant shall furnish reproducible mylars of construction <br /> documents to the City. <br /> <br /> 6. Construction staking will be limited to providing one set of stakes <br /> each for, rough grading and underground storm sewers. It shall not <br /> include staking for any landscape features or landscape improvements <br /> such as berms, planting, irrigation, sidewalks or electrical. Costs <br /> to replace stakes lost or destroyed will be an extra charge based <br /> on time and materials. <br /> <br /> 7. Printing. <br /> A. 40 sets of prints of the working drawings and specifications <br /> to be delivered to the City for purposes of bidding. <br /> B. One set of mylar reproducibles of working drawings to be <br /> delivered to the City. <br /> C. All incidental reproduction costs involved in preparing the work <br /> described in this contract. <br /> <br /> <br />
