Using available base information (Muirwood Park Improvement Plans, dated <br /> 11-2-70) and our present knowledge of the site, formulate questions for <br /> discussion with Staff regarding specific program elements: picnic area <br /> redesign, additional lighted walkways, restroom facilities, small parking <br /> area and other miscellaneous improvements. <br /> <br /> 2. Prepare pre-design cost opinion for constructing proposed improvements, <br /> itemized to include minimum and maximum expenditures for program elements <br /> and ancillary improvement costs. .' <br /> <br /> 3. Meet with Staff to review Scope of Work, project design and construction <br /> schedules, program checklist (Item 1, above) and pre-design cost evaluation. <br /> <br /> 4. Meet with appropriate parks maintenance representative to receive further <br /> information either as part of Task 3 above or in conference at the site. <br /> <br /> 5. Based on input received from Staff and review of additional available <br /> data (subdivision improvement plans, title descriptions, City standard <br /> design details and guide specifications), prepare at least two schematic <br /> design plans incorporating both existing and proposed f~-~]~'ties. Graphics <br /> are to be diagrammatic but to scale, indicating activity areas, circulation, <br /> vegetative massings, park structures, furnishings and topographic form. <br /> Plan alternatives shall explore alternative locational relationships <br /> while placing emphasis on different program elements as requested by <br /> staff. <br /> <br /> 6. Develop schenati9 cost opinion for each of the schematic design plans. <br /> <br /> 7. Meet with Staff to review the schematic design plans and cost opinions, <br /> receive addit~ibnal program information and prepare for forth-coming <br /> neighborhood meeting. <br /> <br /> 8. Revise and refine plans as necessary and prepare colored blackline prints <br /> for presentation. <br /> <br /> 9. Attend and..participate in one neighborhood meeting utilizing one or more <br /> schematic design plans and previously prepared existing conditions plan. <br /> <br /> 10. Based on citizen and staff input,.prepare a preliminary development plan <br /> at appropriate scale showing existing and proposed facilities to be <br /> accomodated by current budget, including paths and paved areas, structures, <br /> furnishings, lighting, plant materials and proposed 1' contours. Future <br /> development, if requested by Staff, shall be on a separate "phasing plan". <br /> <br /> <br />
