Using available base information ("Pre-school Park, Tract 2837", dated <br /> 9-23-69) and our present knowledge of the site, formulate questions for dis- <br /> cussion with Staff regarding specific program elements: renovation of the <br /> existing tot play area and landscape buffer along Northway Road. <br /> <br />2. Prepare pre-design cost opinion for constructing proposed improvements, <br /> itemized to include minimum and maximum expenditures for program elements <br /> and ancillary improvement costs. <br /> <br />3. Meet with Staff to review Scope of Work, project design and construction <br /> schedules, program checklist (Item 1, above) and pre-design cost evalution. <br /> <br />4. Meet with appropriate parks maintenance representative to receive further <br /> information either as part of Task 3 above or in conference at the site. <br /> <br />5. Based on input received from Staff and review of additional available data <br /> (subdivision improvement plans, title descriptions, City standard design <br /> details and guide specifications), prepare at least one schematic design <br /> plan incorporating both existing and proposed facilities. Graphics <br /> are to be diagrammatic but to scale, indicating activity areas, circulation, <br /> vegetative masslugs, park structures, furnishings and topographic form. <br /> <br />6. Develop schematic cost opinion based on the above plan. <br /> <br />7. Meet with Staff to review the schematic design plan and cost opinion, <br /> receive additional program information and prepare for forth-coming <br /> neighborhood meeting. <br /> <br />8. Revise and refine the plan as necessary and prepare colored blackline <br /> print for presentation. <br /> <br />9. Attend and participate in one neighborhood meeting utilizing schematic <br /> design plan and previously prepared existing conditions plan. <br /> <br />10. Based on citizen and staff input, prepare a preliminary development plan <br /> at appropriate scale showing existing and proposed facilities to be <br /> accommodated by current budget, including paths and paved areas, playlot <br /> structures, furnishings and plant materials. Future development, if re- <br /> quested by Staff, shall be on a separate "phasing plan". <br /> <br />11. Prepare plan enlargement(s) illustrating detailed play area development <br /> and typical Northway Road landscape treatment. <br /> <br /> <br />
