Section 4: The City Council directs City staff to provide <br /> information and assistance to the Councilmember to help <br /> determine and investigate: <br /> <br /> a. Necessary federal and state permit requirements. <br /> <br /> b. Appropriate locations for pick up of household <br /> hazardous waste. <br /> <br /> c. Whether volunteers with the necessary expertise are <br /> available to reduce program costs by working at no <br /> cost. <br /> <br /> d. Whether a valleywide program could be integrated <br /> with the smaller countywide program being studied <br /> by Alameda County. <br /> <br /> e. What potential liabilities are associated with such <br /> a program and how best to minimize or insure <br /> against any such liability exposure. <br /> <br /> f. The viability of contracting out with specialized <br /> firms for administration of the program. <br /> <br /> g.
