Previous studies had identified
methane gas at the property boundary with Ralph Martin.

The goals of this study are to define the areal limits of the LFG
migration on to the Martin Property and, if LFG' is present, to
measure LFG concentrations on the Martin Property.

The scope of work includes three tasks: (1) review existing
documents, reports, and regulations; (2) conduct field
investigations; and (3) complete evaluations, meetings, and a
report. The field investigation involved going onto the Martin
property, drilling boreholes, taking undisturbed soil samples during
drilling to gather lithological data, installing vapor monitoring
probes, and measuring gas concentrations.

Summary of Findings

A summary of the findings of this study is presented below. The
methodology and results are described in detail in later sections of
this report.

Figure 1 shows the borehole locations and the effected portion of the
proposed plot plan for development of the Martin Property. The plot
plan was provided by Mr. Martin.

BOX 8045 WALNUT CREEK.
