12 <br />THE CITY OF <br />-~ ~° ° -~- '"' CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br />~L~E ~S~4NTONo <br />July 15, 2008 <br />Public Works Department <br />TITLE: ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR TRACT 7240, <br />CHATEAU COUNTRY ESTATES (HAHNER PROPERTY) <br />SUMMARY <br />Tract 7240, Chateau Country Estates, is comprised of a 30 lot single-family detached <br />residential subdivision developed by Greenbriar Homes, and two custom estate parcels, <br />one of which is a 17.5-acre vineyard parcel. The development is located between <br />Vineyard Avenue, Old Vineyard Avenue (Vineyard Trail) and Thiessen Street. The <br />public improvements for this subdivision are complete and ready for formal acceptance <br />by the City. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />1. Accept for normal maintenance the public improvements for Tract 7240, Chateau <br />Country Estates (Hahner Property) listed below. <br />2. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion. <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />There will be nominal costs associated with the routine maintenance of street lights, <br />water lines, sanitary sewers, storm drains, and roadway facilities when the public <br />improvements are accepted. <br />
