PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 371 <br />RESOLVED: <br />The Tentative Subdivision Map for Tract No. 2659, Rosepointe (Martin) <br />having come before this Commission as provided by Ordinance No. 358, is <br />hereby approved, with the following conditions and modifications; except <br />in the case of the valley gutter, which will be allowed with minimum <br />width of 6 feet, depth of 2 inches: <br />1. Street Geometries <br />a. The street intersecting Sunol Boulevard shall have 40 feet <br />property line radii. <br />b. Acceleration and deceleration lanes shall be provided on Sunol <br />Boulevard at the intersection. <br />• <br />c. The radius of the curve of Sunol Boulevard shall be 1000 feet <br />at the center line of Sunol Boulevard. <br />d. The approximate radius of each street curve shall be indicated <br />on the Tentative Map by the developer's engineer. <br />2. Structural Design of Streets <br />The pavement sections shall be designed by the developer's Soil <br />Engineer and be acceptable to the City Engineer. <br />3. Specifications and Standard Details <br />In accordance with Section 8.01 of Ordinance No. 358, it is requested <br />that the City Engineer be authorized to modify the City's existing <br />Standard Specifications and Detail in applying them to this Sub- <br />division in order to allow for mndern materials and methods as may <br />be required. Some specific recommendations for such modifications <br />are as follows; <br />a. Specifications for saver and water pipe should be modified to <br />allow newer type joints. <br />b. Specifications for street name signs should be modified to <br />require white reflectorized letters, block numbers on green coated <br />aluminum sheeting as previously approved by the Planning Commis- <br />sion and City Council. <br />c. Reference should be made to the 1960 Standard Specifications of <br />the California Division of Highways, rather than the 1954 edition, <br />particularly with reference to roadway materials. <br />4. Sanitary Sewer System <br />The 6" V.C.P. shown along lot lines in the northeast corner of the <br />subdivision and serving lots 23 and 24 should be eliminated in favo <br />of a line in Amber Lane. <br />Final approval of the sanitary sewer system should be withheld until <br />the developer has submitted engineering calculations and has demon- <br />strated to the satisfaction of the City Engineer that the proposed <br />system is adequate for the service area and generally meets the long - <br />range requirements for the sanitary sewer system in this area. <br />
