'6. Contract Liability - Indemnification: The City will assume all <br /> risks associated with its use of services provided by.the County <br /> of Santa Clara pursuant to this agreement. It shall indemnify, <br /> hold harmless and defend the County, all other Associate Members <br /> and all parties to the JPA from all claims for money or damages <br /> arising'from errors or Qmissions of the County, or the other <br /> aforementioned parties, when providing employee relations services <br /> for the City pursuant to Paragraph 3 and Paragraph 5. <br /> <br />7. Term of Agreement: This agreement shall be effective on July 1, <br /> 1986 and shall terminate on July 1, 1987 unless otherwise extended <br /> or renewed by the Service and the City. <br /> <br />8. Dissolution of Service: Should the Service be dissolved during <br /> the term of this agreement or during any extension or renewal <br /> thereof, the agreement may be assumed by a successor upon the <br /> express written consent of the City; or may be terminated by <br /> either the Service or the City.
