CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-366 <br /> <br /> AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN DRAFT LETTER <br /> AGREEMENT WITH PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY FOR SPORTS <br /> PARK ACCESS AND OTHER RELATED IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Prudential Development Group has prepared a draft <br /> letter agreement to confirm Prudential's commitment to <br /> expend up to $25,000 which will benefit the Sports Park <br /> and North Pleasanton Parks and Recreation Facilities. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the draft letter also confirms the understanding that <br /> Prudential will draw upon the $25,000 commitment to fund <br /> a preliminary traffic study which shall not exceed <br /> $5,000 in cost (see attached draft letter agreement). <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the letter agreement with Prudential to <br /> expend up to $25,000 which will benefit the Sports Park <br /> and North Pleasanton Parks and Recreation Facilities. <br /> <br />Section 2: All such expenditures made by Prudential will require <br /> the mutual written approval by Brian Swift or nominee <br /> for the City of Pleasanton, and Earle Conklin or nominee <br /> for Prudential/Callahan Pentz Properties. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 5, 1986 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Mercer, Mohr and Mayor Brandes, <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmembers Wood and Butle~r~~~ <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> F A~' C.
