d. Grading plans be submitted to a degree required by the City <br />Engineer. <br />e. As a condition of approval it is agreed that the City <br />Engineer is authorized to modify the City's existing <br />Standard Specifications and Details to allow modern materials <br />methods and design criteria as may be required for this <br />development. Some specific modifications are as follows: <br />(1) Specifications for sewer and water pipe shall be <br />modified to allow newer type joints. <br />(2) Street name signs shall be modified to require white <br />reflectorized lettere, block numbers and arrows on <br />green coated aluminum sheeting as previously approved <br />by the Planning Commission and City Council. <br />Street structural design method shall be modified to <br />require design by California R -Value method using the <br />following Traffic Indices and minimum Asphalt Concrete <br />surface courses: (Calculations, etc., to be submitted). <br />(a) Pleasanton•Sunol Road - T.I.= 8, A.C.= 3" <br />(b) Mission Drive • Pleasanton - Sunol Road to Sonoma <br />T.I.' 7, A.C. -3 ". <br />(c) Sonoma Street - Pleasanton -Sunol Road to San Carlos <br />Way - T.I.= 6, A.C. = 23 ". <br />(d) Mission Drive - Dolores to Sonoma; Capistrano St.; <br />Sonoma St. - Mission to San Carlos - T.I.= 53/4, <br />A.C.o 2". <br />(3) <br />MP <br />(e) Dolores St.; San Antonio Dr.; San Carlos Way; <br />Frontage road on Pleasanton -Sunol Road southerly <br />from Mission Drive - T.I. The electrical system shall be "modified underground" as <br />shown on the attached sketch, with street lighting meeting <br />the Illuminating Engineer's Society specifications. 20,000 <br />lumen mercury vapor lights shall be installed on Pleasanton - <br />Sunol Road for Al the roadway lighting plus additional safety <br />lighting at the intersections, if required. <br />g. The intersections of Hillview Ave., Mission Drive and <br />Sonoma Street with Pleasanton -Sunol Road shall be properly <br />channelized and shall have traffic islands installed for <br />future traffic signal installation. <br />h. Fire Hydrants <br />(1) Locate as shown on Exhibit "A ". <br />(2) Type - Greenberg No. 76 in RG •15, I -P, RG -25 and <br />C -N zones. <br />(3) Type - Greenberg No. 75 and No 74 in R -1 and R -2 zones. <br />i. Water Distribution System <br />Calculations to be submitted as required by Section 6.03(c) <br />of Ord. No. 358 either with final plans or before. Final <br />approval of Water Distribution System to be made by City <br />Engineer after receipt of said calculations. <br />
