CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL OF TENTATIVE MAP, TRACT 2595 <br />1. Street Classification - The classification as indicated by street width <br />on Exhibit "A" is recommended without change. <br />2. Street Names - To avoid conflicts in the Pleasanton area, it is recommended <br />that the following street names not be used in this tract: Balboa Way, <br />Carlos Court, Rivera Court. It is further recommended that substitutes for <br />the above street :fames be chosen from the following abridged list submitted <br />by the developer's engineer: Bivar, Alfonso, Mendoza and Cristobal, or from <br />other names that the developer may submit for approval. Also Rolln should <br />be used where Jensen is shown on the tentative. <br />3. Streets General - The following requirements shall be made pertaining to the <br />streets. <br />a. The pavement sections shall be in accordance with the Pavement Design as <br />provided by the developer's Soil Engineer. <br />4. Specifications and Standard Details - In accordance with Section 8.01 <br />of Ord. No. 358, it is requested that the City Engineer be authorized <br />to modify the City's existing Standard Specifications and Details in <br />applying them to this subdivision in order to allow for modern materials, <br />methods and design criteria as may be required. Some specific recommend- <br />ations for such modifications are as follows: <br />a. Specifications for sewer and water pipe should be modified to allow <br />newer type joints. <br />b. Specifications for street name signs should be modified to require <br />white reflectorized letters, block numbers and arrows on green <br />coated aluminum sheeting as previously approved by the Planning <br />Commission and City Council. <br />c. Reference should be made to the 1960 Standard Specifications of the <br />State Division of Highways, rather than the 1954 edition, particularly <br />with reference to roadway materials. <br />5. Storm Drainage System - The following recommendations are made pertaining <br />to the storm drainage system: <br />a. That a field inlet be constructed to collect the runoff from the <br />school property. <br />b. That the developer's engineer determine and demonstrate that the area <br />east of the tract does not contribute to the runoff of the tract. <br />c. That the off -site drainage channel be designed with sufficient capacity <br />to carry the tract drainage and all other drainage that would normally <br />follow the proposed alignment. <br />
