PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1907 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A <br />GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT AS FILED UNDER CASE GP-80-5. <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting of January 22, 1980, the City Council <br />took action appointing a Committee to review the Land <br />Use/Circulation Element of the City's General Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Land Use/Circulation Review Committee had their first <br />work session on February 19, 1980 and met until July 15, <br />1980 in order to formulate recommendations for Land Use/ <br />Circulation changes; and <br />WHEREAS, the meetings were opened for public review and testimony; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed the report of the Land Use/ <br />Circulation Committee and recommendation of the City <br />Staff as to which Land Use changes would require a <br />Negative Declaration and which Land Use changes would <br />require an Environmental Impact Report; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council initiated an application for a General <br />Plan amendment to consider the proposed changes requirinc <br />a Negative Declaration and another application for those <br />changes requiring an Environmental Impact Report; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on <br />September 10, 1980 to consider the Land Use Committee <br />recommendations requiring a Negative Declaration as <br />filed under case GP-80-5 and considered public input <br />relative to this application. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOL9ING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton votes <br />as follows to recommend the listed changes: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Lindsey and <br />Chairperson Wilson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Jamieson <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />A. Change the 9.8 acre parcel immediately south of <br />Foothill High School from Public and Institutional <br />to Low Density Residential. <br />" B. Change the 140 acre U. S. Army property located <br />between Stoneridge Drive and Johnson Drive from <br />Agriculture and Grazing to Public and Institutional. <br />/// <br />
