PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1908 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON APPROVING THE MITIGATED <br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR CHANG SU-0 LIN AS FILED <br />UNDER CASE TRACT 4671. <br />WHEREAS, Change Su-O Lin has applied for tentative map approval <br />for a 12-lot residential subdivision to be constructed <br />on a 4.2 acre portion of a 36 acre site located on the <br />west side of Santa Rita Road between the SPRR tracks and <br />Laramie Gate Circle. The property is zoned R-1-6500 <br />(Single-Family Residential) District; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on September <br />10, 1980 at which time all pertinent documents and <br />testimony were reviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done <br />pursuant to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and <br />Procedures adopted by the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its meeting of September 10, <br />1980 received the Initial Study and proposed Mitigated <br />Negative Declaration in a report from the Director of <br />Planning and Community Development dated September 10, <br />1980 regarding the aforementioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was advised by the City Attorney <br />of its responsibilities in reviewing the proposed <br />Negative Declaration and the determinations required <br />by Section 5.4(e) of Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, each member of the Planning Commission had before him/ <br />her copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of con- <br />sidering the proposed Negative Declaration and Initial <br />Study; and <br />WHEREAS, the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on <br />the proposed environmental assessment, which has previously <br />been published in the Pleasanton Times, at the time of <br />the public hearing on the aforementioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the <br />Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation <br />of projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact <br />Reports as they pertain to requirements for Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports in order to <br />determine if a Negative Declaration is appropriate for the <br />/// <br />
