estimated cost for con~cruction engineering and construction, as shown <br />on Exhibit A. <br /> <br /> (5) In no event shall CITY's total obligation for all costs <br />under this agreement, except for costs as specified in Section III, <br />Article 8, exceed the amount of $8,410,000 provided that CITY may, at <br />its sole discretion, in writing, authorize a greater amount. <br /> <br /> (6) To bear the full cost of preliminary engineering for <br />the auxiliary lanes and edge drains and SERVICES (estimated to be <br />$230,000) which shall be the actual cost for work performed by STATE <br />on behalf of CITY as determined upon completion of all such work and <br /> <br />final accounting of all related charges, and shall be a sum of the <br /> <br />following: ~ <br /> / <br /> <br /> (a) Salary costs computed in accordance with <br /> <br /> -STATE's standard accounting procedures. <br /> <br /> (b) Travel and per diem expenses including <br /> charges for the use by such employee of STATE vehicles, <br /> if required in accordance with rates set up by the <br /> State Board of Control Rules under Title 2, Section <br /> 706. <br /> <br /> (c) Functional indirect and administrative <br /> overhead costs computed in accordance with STATE's <br /> Accounting Manual Chapter II, Table 6-2. <br /> <br /> -6- <br /> <br /> <br />
