PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />_ COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1959 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR TENTATIVE MAP TRACT 4781, FOOTHILL ASSOCIATES. <br />WHEREAS, Foothill Associates has applied for tentative map approval <br />for Tract 4781, for a proposed 16 single-family lot sub- <br />division of approximately 9.8 acres of land located at <br />the northeast corner of Muirwood Drive South and Foothill <br />Road; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is R-1-20,000 (Single-Family <br />Residential) District; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on February 17, <br />1981 at which time all pertinent documents and testimony <br />were reviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done pursuant <br />to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures <br />adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton <br />by Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its meeting of February 17, 1981 <br />received the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration <br />in a report from the Director of Planning and Community <br />Development dated February 17, 1961 regarding the afore- <br />mentioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was advised by the City Attorney <br />of its responsibilities in reviewing the proposed Negative <br />Declaration and the determinations required by Section 5.4(e) <br />of Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, each member of the Planning Commission had before him/her <br />copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering <br />the proposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and <br />WHEREAS, the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which had previously <br />been published in the Pleasanton Times, at the time of the <br />public hearing on the aforementioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the <br />Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of <br />projects and preparation of Environmental Impact Reports <br />- as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations and <br />
