PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1961 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A <br />MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR <br />MEYER PROPERTIES, INC. AS FILED UNDER CASE <br />PUD-80-16. <br />WHEREAS, application of Meyer Properties, Inc. for planned unit <br />development (Industrial and Commercial) zoning and <br />development plan approval for an approximately 82 <br />acre site located at the northwest corner of Hopyard <br />Road and Stoneridge Drive. The tentative proposal for <br />land uses for the subject area indicates approximately <br />36 acres of industrial development, 24 acres of office <br />development and 11 acres of commercial development to be <br />served by 11 acres of dedicated streets. As part of the <br />office land use, one building 14 stories in height and <br />two buildings 8 stories in height are proposed. The <br />property is currently zoned Planned Unit Development <br />(General Industrial). The Planning Commission may <br />recommend approval of the rezoning and development <br />plan as proposed or may modify the proposal in any manner <br />consistent with the General Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development- <br />General Industrial District); and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on <br />March 11, 1981 at which time all pertinent documents <br />and testimony were reviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done pursuant <br />to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures <br />adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton <br />by Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its meeting of March 11, 1981 <br />received the Initial Study and proposed Mitigated Negative <br />Declaration in a report from the Director of Planning and <br />Community Development dated March 11, 1981 regardinng <br />the aforementioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was advised by the City Attorney <br />of its responsibilities in reviewing the proposed Negative <br />Declaration and the determinations required by Section 5.4 (e) <br />of Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, each member of the Planning Commission had before him/her <br />copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering <br />the proposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and <br />WHEREAS, the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />_ proposed environmental assessment, which had previously <br />been published in the Pleasanton Times, at the time of the <br />public hearing on the aforementioned project; and <br />
