d. Use of building elements and landscaping to <br />screen trucking areas or outside storage and <br />trash areas shall be incorporated in each site <br />plan design. <br />e. Exterior wall heights and finishes shall be <br />used to screen roof mounted equipment including <br />extensions of any roof slope elements as part of <br />the overall design. <br />f. Exterior building design and finishes shall reflect <br />proper attention to create a design approach with <br />individual building design forms complementing <br />landscaping and adjacent buildings. <br />g. Building design shall reflect a variety of forms <br />and not just addition of finishes to uncreative <br />building "boxes." <br />h. Building finishes and colors shall utilize and <br />contrast both natural materials, like bricks, <br />sandblasted concrete, rough sawn wood and reflective <br />glass with painted rough stucco, painted concrete <br />and aluminum. <br />i. Building heights may vary depending upon type of <br />use and location. <br />j. It is encouraged that all buildings within the sub- <br />ject development adhere to good site orientation and <br />sun control with proper utilization of wall and roof <br />insulation; integration of active solar systems is <br />encouraged for at least hot water use as well as <br />supplementary heating and cooling systems. <br />k. Each building site should incorporate proper orien- <br />tation for sun and climate control as well as pro- <br />tecting adjacent building's solar access. <br />1. if a building does not act as a total roof screen <br />to mechanical equipment, then any addition to the <br />building to screen present or future mechanical <br />equipment or solar collectors shall be of the same <br />building design elements and color. The use of <br />separate mechanical screen fence design shall be <br />discouraged with all screening designed and approved <br />at the Design Review Board approval stage. <br />29. No materials, supplies or equipment, excluding company <br />owned or operated trucks and motor vehicles, shall be - <br />stored in any area on a site except inside or behind <br />a solid visual barrier which screens such areas from <br />non-industrial properties adjoining developer's project <br />or public streets, which barrier shall be at least 6 ft. <br />in height. <br />-8- <br />
