PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1968 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR TRACT 4385 FILED BY MACKAY HOMES, <br />INC. <br />WHEREAS, Mackay Homes, Inc., has applied for approval of a 25 lot <br />single family residential subdivision for Tract 4385; and <br />WHEREAS, the 7.4 acre site is located at the intersection of <br />Valley Avenue and Hansen Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is R-1-6500 (Single-Family <br />Residential) District; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on March 11, 1981 at which <br />time all pertinent documents and testimony were reviewed; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done pursuant <br />to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures <br />adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton <br />by Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its meeting of March 11, 1981 <br />received the Initial Study and proposed Mitigated Negative <br />Declaration in a report from the Director of Planning and <br />Community Development dated March 11, 1981 regarding the <br />aforementioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was advised by the City Attorney <br />of its responsibilities in reviewing the proposed Negative <br />Declaration and the determinations required by Section 5.4(e) <br />of Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, each member of the Planning Commission had before him/her <br />copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering <br />the proposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and <br />WHEREAS, the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which had previously <br />been published in the Pleasanton Times, at the time of the <br />public hearing on the aforementioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the <br />Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of <br />projects and preparation of Environmental Impact Reports <br />as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations and <br />Environmental Impact Reports in order to determine if a <br />
