PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1976 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A MITIGATED <br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR RZ-81-2 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to prezone the area <br />located on the north side of Vineyard Avenue immediately <br />east of the Hacienda Mobile Home Park to RM-4000 <br />(Multiple-Family Residential) District or to any other <br />zoning district consistent with the General Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on April 8, 1981 at which <br />time all public testimony and documents were considered; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done pursuant <br />to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures <br />adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton by <br />Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its meeting of January 14, 1981, <br />received the Initial Study and proposed Mitigated Negative <br />Declaration in a report from the Director of Planning and <br />Community Development dated January 14, 1981 regarding <br />the aforementioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was advised by the City Attorney <br />of its responsibilities in reviewing the proposed Negative <br />Declaration and the determinations required by Section 5.4 (e) <br />of Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, each member of the .Planning Commission had before him/her <br />copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering <br />the proposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and <br />WHEREAS, the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which had previously <br />been published in the Pleasanton Times, at the time of <br />the public hearing on the aforementioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the <br />Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation <br />of projects and preparation of Environmental Impact Reports <br />as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations <br />and Environmental Impact Reports in order to determine if <br />/// <br />
