PROPOSED ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT FINDINGS
6. (continued)
Finding: The adoption of revisions to the overall circulation network
and the review of land use designations will mitigate this impact.
Facts: The adoption of the circulation network based on the North
Pleasanton Traffic Study, the elimination of the proposal to realign
Stoneridge Drive and West Las Positas Boulevard pending an overall
circulation network review, and the review of land use allocations
will reduce conflicts between industrial-related circulation noises and
residential land uses.
7. Significant Effect: Relocation of existing City corporation yard
Finding: The adoption of an alternate location for the residential
use proposed will allow the corporation yard to be retained.
Facts: The reduction of area for residential uses and an alternate
adjacent location will result in adequate area remaining for the continued
operation of the corporation yard.
8. Significant Effect: Reduction in neighborhood and community park land
below City policy.
Finding: The increase in size or number of parks in high density
residential areas will mitigate this impact.
Facts: The enlargement of the park area within Area 13 (High Density
Residential) will reduce this impact.
Finding: A reevaluation of General Plan goals and policies will mitigate
this lmpact.
Facts: In light of land use changes, the reevaluation of General Plan
goals and policies relating to park lands and population size will reduce
this inconsistency.
//
