PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1985 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL, DENIAL AND POSTPONEMENT OF PROPOSED GENERAL PLAN LAND USE CHANGES AS RECOMMENDED BY THE LAND USE REVIEW COMMITTEE AS FILED UNDER CASE GP-80-8. WHEREAS, at their meeting of January 22, 1980, the City Council took action appointing a Committee to review the Land Use/Circulation Element of the City's General Plan; and WHEREAS, the Land Use/Circulation Review Committee had their first work session on February 19, 1980 and met until July 15, 1980 in order to formulate recommendations for Land Use/ Circulation changes; and WHEREAS, the meetings were open for public review and testimony; and WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed the report of the Land Use/ Circulation Committee and recommendation of the City staff as to which land use changes would require a Negative Declaration and which land use changes would require the preparation of an Environmental Impact Report; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on September 10, 1980 to consider the Land Use Committee recommendations requiring a Negative Declaration as filed under case GP-80-5 and considered public input relative to that application; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on May 13, 1981, to consider the Land Use Committee recommendations requiring an Environmental Impact Report (EIR), at which time all reports, documents and testimony were considered; and WHEREAS, Recommendations No. 1, 2 and 3 relate directly to a general plan amendment request of Stoneson Development Company filed under case GP-81-2; and WHEREAS, Recommendations No. 7, 8 and 9 relate directly to a general plan amendment request of Prudential Insurance Company filed under case GP-81-1; and WHEREAS, on May 13, 1981 the public hearing was opened and documents and testimony were received on case GP-80-8; and ///
