PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1805 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR CENTEX HOMES FILED UNDER PUD-79-11 <br />WHEREAS, Centex Homes has applied for a planned unit development for <br />a 79-unit single family residential project proposed to be <br />constructed on the 32.4 acre site located between the <br />Pleasanton School playfield and Mirador Drive immediately <br />southerly of the residences bordering Angela Street. <br />Zoning for the property is A (Agricultural) District. <br />WHEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done pursuant <br />to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures <br />adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton <br />by Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its meeting of October 10, <br />1979 received the Initial Study and proposed Negative <br />Declaration in a report from the Director of Planning <br />and Community Development dated July 2, 1979 (Rev. 9/28/79) <br />regarding the aforementioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was advised by the City Attorney <br />of its responsibilities in reviewing the proposed Negative <br />Declaration and the determinations required by Section <br />5.4(e) of Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, each member of the Planning Commission had before him/her <br />copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering <br />the proposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and <br />WHEREAS, the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which has previously been <br />published in the Pleasanton Times, at the time of the public <br />hearing on the aforementioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the <br />Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation <br />of projects and preparation of Environmental Impact Reports <br />as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations <br />and Environmental Impact Reports in order to determine if a <br />Negative Declaration is appropriate for the project and <br />what mitigation measures, if any, must be undertaken to <br />ensure that the project will not have a significant impact <br />upon the environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />
