Responsible for <br /> purchasing equipment, soliciting and training staff, preparing <br /> budgets, while soliciting and booking of all events. The <br /> complex has moved from 700 events in the first year of operation <br /> to 1,500 events projected for the 1984-85 fiscal year. <br /> <br /> Worked under the direction of a city manager, mayor and council, <br /> in the management of the conmnunity/convention center complex, <br /> while working for a 17-member lay board who establishe~ policies <br /> for the convention & visitors bureau. <br /> <br /> <br />
