PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1828 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING THE APPROVAL OF THE APPLI- <br />CATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO AMEND THE LAND <br />USE AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT ELEMENTS OF TEIE GENERAL PLAN <br />AS FILED UNDER GP-79-20 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has applied to amend the Land Use and Growth <br />Management Elements of the General Plan to eliminate the <br />General Plan policies relating to the "Urbanization Line" <br />which designates the limits of urbanization of the City for <br />the period up to 1996; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on November 14, 1979 before the <br />Planning Commission at which time all reports, documents <br />and testimony were received. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission recommends approval of this <br />application recommending approval of the elimination of <br />the Urbanization Line and further recommends that the <br />text of the Growth Management Element be amended as <br />shown on Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof <br />by reference. <br />Section 2.
