PLANNING COMMISSION <br />,_ CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1875 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE MITIGATED <br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR AMADOR VALLEY INVESTORS AS <br />FILED UNDER CASE PUD-80-3 <br />WHEREAS, Amador Valley Investors has applied to rezone from the <br />R-1-6500 (Single-Family Residential) District to the <br />PUD (Planned Unit Development) District and development <br />plan approval for a 113-lot, single-family residential <br />subdivision proposed to be built on an approximately <br />27 acre parcel located just east of the existing terminus <br />of West Las Positas Blvd., north of the Arroyo Mocho; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on May 14, <br />1980 at which time all pertinent documents and testimony <br />were reviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done pursuant <br />to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted <br />by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution <br />No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its meeting of May 14, 1980 <br />received the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration <br />in a report from the Director of Community Development <br />dated May 14, 1980 regarding the aforementioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was advised by the City Attorney <br />of its responsibilities in reviewing the proposed Negative <br />Declaration and the determinations required by Section 5.4 (e) <br />of Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, each member of the Planning Commission had before him/her <br />copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering <br />the proposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and <br />WHEREAS, the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which has previously <br />been published in the Pleasanton Times, at the time of the <br />public hearing on the aforementioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the <br />Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of <br />projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact Reports <br />as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations <br />and Environmental Impact Reports in order to determine <br />if a Negative Declaration is appropriate for the project <br />and what mitigation measures, if any, must be undertaken <br />to ensure that the project will not have a significant impact <br />
