PLANNING COMMISSION ,_ CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1875 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR AMADOR VALLEY INVESTORS AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-80-3 WHEREAS, Amador Valley Investors has applied to rezone from the R-1-6500 (Single-Family Residential) District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) District and development plan approval for a 113-lot, single-family residential subdivision proposed to be built on an approximately 27 acre parcel located just east of the existing terminus of West Las Positas Blvd., north of the Arroyo Mocho; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on May 14, 1980 at which time all pertinent documents and testimony were reviewed; and WHEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its meeting of May 14, 1980 received the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration in a report from the Director of Community Development dated May 14, 1980 regarding the aforementioned project; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was advised by the City Attorney of its responsibilities in reviewing the proposed Negative Declaration and the determinations required by Section 5.4 (e) of Resolution No. 77-66; and WHEREAS, each member of the Planning Commission had before him/her copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and WHEREAS, the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the proposed environmental assessment, which has previously been published in the Pleasanton Times, at the time of the public hearing on the aforementioned project; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact Reports as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports in order to determine if a Negative Declaration is appropriate for the project and what mitigation measures, if any, must be undertaken to ensure that the project will not have a significant impact
