Section 2. The Planning Commission concurred with a staff recommendation to add the following policy statement and implementation programs to the draft Housing Element: Policy 10 (to be added under Subgoal I, Adequate and Affordable Housing)....to increase housing opportunity for moderate income* households. *(Moderate income households are those receiving between 80 - 120 of the Bay Areamedian household income.) Implementation Program 1: To amend RAP in order to facilitate moderate income housing construction. Implementation Program 2: To investigate the formulation of a local home ownership program designed to provide moderate income households with the opportunity to enter the home buying market. They also concurred with the deletion of the words "and moderate" from the following: Policy 8 and Implementation Program Wage 15; Implementation Programs 4 and 5, page 19; Policy 9, page 22; and Policy 3, page 34. "And Moderate" should also be deleted from Table l3, Households "Over-paying" for Rousing: Pleasanton, 1979 (Percentage of Households), page 66; and Table 15, Households Overpaying for Housing; Pleasanton, 1979 (Number of Households), page 77. Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
