RESOLUTION NO. 86-329 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING REPORT AND ASSESSMENT <br /> AND ORDERING IMPROVEMENT <br /> <br /> VALLEY AVENUE EXTENSION ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1988-1 <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Pleasanton resolves: <br /> <br /> This Council has taken a series of actions preliminary to <br />orderinZ the improvement in Valley Avenue Extension Assessment <br />District No. 1988-1, City of Pleasanton, Alameda County, California, <br />and now makes the followinZ findinEs and orders: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Council adopted a map showin~ the boundaries <br />of the land benefited by the proposed improvement. A copy of the <br />boundary map was filed in the office of the County Recorder of the <br />County of Alameda in the Book of Maps of Assessment Districts. <br /> <br /> 2. The Council adopted its Resolution of IntentsIon to <br />order the improvement described therein under the Municipal <br />Improvement Act of 1913, and directed MARE THOMAS ~ CO., INC., as <br />the Engineer of Work for the assessment district, to prepare the <br />report required by Section 10204 of the Streets and Highways Code. <br /> <br /> The improvement is Eerierally described as follows: <br /> <br /> The acquisition of completed roadway improvements and the <br /> proposed construction and installation of roadway <br /> improvements described below together with the acquisition <br /> of all necessary lands and easements for roadway widening, <br /> public utilities, landscapinZ, curb returns at all <br /> intersections and pedestrian pathways where required: <br /> <br /> 1. The acquisition of completed improvements includin~ <br /> the wideninE and improvement of Valley Avenue to a <br /> four lane roadway from Santa Rita Road to east of <br /> quarry Lane includin~ the Bernal Avenue/Arroyo Del <br /> Valle Brid~e. <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> <br />
