PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1714 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />FOR JAMES MORRILL, FILED UNDER UP-79-2. <br />WHEREAS, James Morrill has applied for renewal of a use permit to <br />allow warehouse activities in a 10,500 sq. ft. building <br />proposed to be constructed behind the Nuclear Laundry <br />at 65 Ray Street. Zoning for the property is C-S <br />(Commercial Service) District. <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held February 20, 1979 before the <br />Planning Commission, at which time all pertinent reports, <br />documents and testimony were reviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made the findings that: <br />A. The proposed location of the conditional use is in <br />accord with the objectives of this chapter and the <br />purposes of the district on which the site is located. <br />"- B. The proposed location of the conditional use and the <br />conditions under which it would be operated or main- <br />tained will not be detrimental to the public health, <br />safety or welfare or be materially injurious to the <br />property or improvements in the vicinity. <br />C. The proposed conditional use will comply with each <br />of the applicable provisions of this chapter. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission approves UP-79-2 subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />1. That the development be substantially as shown on the <br />site plan elevations and landscape plan, Exhibit A, <br />for cases UP-79-2 and Z-79-13 on file with the Planning <br />Division. <br />2. That approval of this use permit is subject to the <br />approval of case Z-79-13 and any conditions that may <br />be attached thereto by the Design Review Board. <br />3. That the applicant be aware that this use permit is <br />for warehousing, except for the storage of fuels or <br />other flammable liquids, and that additional con- <br />ditional use permits may be required depending upon <br />future uses proposed for the site. <br />
