PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1780 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR PUD-79-2. ~~ <br />WHEREAS, Joe Boatright <br />(Planned Unit <br />plan approval <br />on 55 acres o <br />Foothill Road <br />and Ray Goodrich for rezoning to PUD <br />Development) District and development <br />for an 11-lot residential subdivision <br />E the 74.5 acre site located west of <br />and north of Longview Drive. The Planning <br />Commission may rezone the 73 acres as requested or to <br />any other designation consistent with the General Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned A (Agricultural) District; and <br />WHEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done <br />pursuant to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and <br />Procedures adopted by the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its meeting of August 8, 1979 <br />received the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration <br />in a report from the Director of Community Development <br />dated May 3, 1979 regarding the aforementioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was advised by the City Attorney <br />of its responsibilities in reviewing the proposed Negative <br />Declaration and the determinations required by Section 5.4 <br />(e) of Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, each member of the Planning Commission had before him/her <br />copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering <br />the proposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and <br />WHEREAS, the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which has previously <br />been published in the Pleasanton Times, at the time of the <br />public hearing on the aforementioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the <br />Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation <br />of projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact <br />Reports as they pertain to requirements for Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports in order to <br />determine if a Negative Declaration is appropriate for the <br />project and what mitigation measure, if any, must be <br />undertaken to ensure that the project will not have a <br />significant impact upon the environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />
