NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Planning Commission reviewed the contents of
Resolution No. 77-66 (Environmental Impact Guidelines
and Procedures) as they pertain to the requirements for
Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports
and determines that the project requested in GP-79-15
would not have any significant effects on the environment
to require the preparation of an Environmental Impact
Report, since any adverse effects are capable of being
mitigated.
Section 2. Although the Initial Study identified certain aspects
of the project as having potential significant adverse
environmental effects, said effects can be rendered
insignificant by the inclusion of the following mitigation
measures in the project, should it be approved:
Conditions of approval requiring an alternate
BART .station site in the vicinity of the
Stoneridge Shopping Center would reduce those
impacts to an insignificant level.
Section 3. The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of
Determination to be filed pursuant to Section 5.4 (g)
of Resolution No. 77-66.
Section 4.
