PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1634 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL <br />APPROVAL OF A COMMERCIAL COMPLEX FILED BY MERLE <br />TELFORD UNDER Z-78-46, WHICH IS LOCATED IN THE <br />C-O (CIVIC OVERLAY) DISTRICT. <br />WHEREAS, Merle Telford has applied for design review approval to <br />construct a 15,525 sq. ft. building to be located at 201 <br />Main Street, immediately north of the old Post Office <br />building; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned C-C/C-O (Central Commercial/Civic <br />Overlay) District; and <br />WHEREAS, the C-O District regulations require the City Council to <br />approve the plans of any development within the District; <br />and <br />,- WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the Planning Commission <br />on April 21, 1978, at which time all pertinent maps, <br />drawings, documents and testimony were reviewed by the <br />Planning Commission. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission recommends to the City Council the <br />approval requested under Z-78-46, subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />1. That the development be constructed substantially as <br />shown on the site plan, elevations, and landscape plan, <br />Exhibit A, on file with the Planning Division, except <br />as modified by conditions 4-7 below and except that <br />the curbcut on Main Street be 24' in width. <br />2. That approval of these plans does not constitute ap- <br />proval of signing for the project and that a compre- <br />hensive detailed signing program for the project be <br />submitted under separate application. <br />3. That approval of this case is conditioned upon the <br />approval of Case V-78-5 and any conditions which may <br />be attached thereto by the Board of Adjustment. <br />4. That Building B tie in with Main Street by having the <br />first shop face Main Street or have its entrance at a <br />d diagonal thus facing both Main Street and the parking <br />-1- <br />
