PLANNING COMMISSION CITX OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1635 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR UP-78-6, WICKLAND OIL COMPANY. WHEREAS, Wickland Oil Company has applied for approval to operate a self-serve service station on the northwest corner of the intersection of Hopyard Road and Johnson Industrial Drive; zoning for the property is I-G (General Industrial) District; and WHEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its meeting of April 12, 1978 received the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration in a report form the Director of Community Development dated, April 12, 1978, regarding the aforementioned project; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was advised by the City Attorney of its responsbilities in reviewing the proposed Negative Declaration and the determinations required by Section 5.4 (e) of Resolution No. 77-66; and WHEREAS, each member of the Planning Commission had before him copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and WHEREAS, the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the proposed environmental assessment, which has previously been published in the "Pleasanton Times," at the time of the public hearing on the aforementioned project; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact Reports as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports in order to determine if a Negative Declaration is appropriate for the project and what mitigation measures, if any, must be undertaken to ensure that the project will not have a significant impact upon the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
