PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. .1655 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON APPROVING UP-78-11, TAM INVESTMENT <br />COMPANY, INCORPORATED. <br />WHEREAS, Tam Investment Co., Inc., has applied for a conditional <br />use permit to operate a shopping center to be located on <br />a 4.07 acre site located at the northeasterly corner of <br />Hopyard Road and Valley Avenue. A small portion of the <br />1.8 acre P (Public and Institutional) District land easterly <br />of the commercial site would be used for parking spaces to <br />serve the shopping center; zoning for the property is <br />C-C (Central Commercial), 0 (Office) and P (Public and <br />Institutional) District; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on July 12, 1978, to review all <br />pertinent information regarding this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning. Commission made the following findings: <br />~- A. That the proposed location of the conditional use is <br />in accord with the objectives of this chapter and <br />the purposes of the district in which the site is <br />located. <br />B. That the proposed location of the conditional use <br />and the conditions under which it would be operated or <br />maintained will not be detrimental to the public health, <br />safety, or welfare, or materially injurious to the <br />properties or improvements in the vicinity. <br />C. That the proposed conditional use will comply with each <br />of the applicable provisions of this chapter. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Suction 1. The Planning Commission approves UP-78-11, subject to <br />the following conditions: <br />1. That the approval of this case is conditioned upon the <br />approval of case Z-78-62 and all conditions which may <br />be attached thereto by the Planning Commission acting <br />as the Design Review Board. <br />2. That in order to establis~z z.n effective buffer between <br />the shopping center and residences on Longspur Way, the <br />1.8 acre P-zoned site be developed as follows: <br />
