PLANNING COMMISSION <br />~- CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1661 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR <br />LOY SELVEY, UP-78-16. <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Loy Selvey has applied for a conditional use permit to <br />operate an automobile air conditioning and radiator service <br />at 3657 Old Santa Rita Road; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held at which all pertinent infor- <br />mation was presented for the Commission's review; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has found: <br />A. That the proposed location of the conditional use is in <br />accord with the objectives of the zoning ordinance and <br />the purposes of the C-S District in which the site <br />is located. <br />B. That the proposed location of the conditional use and the <br />conditions under which it would be operated or maintained <br />will not be detrimental to the public health, safety or <br />welfare or be materially injurious to properties or <br />improvements in the vicinity. <br />C. That the proposed conditional use will comply with each <br />of the applicable provisions of the zoning ordinance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. That UP-78-16 be approved subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />1. That the development be substantially as shown on the <br />site plan, Exhibit A, on file with the Planning Division. <br />2. That there be no storage of any type in the setback area <br />between the building and the southern property line of <br />the subject property. <br />3. That all ducts, meters, air conditioning equipment and <br />any other mechanical equipment, whether on the structure, <br />on the ground or elsewhere, be effectively screened from <br />view with materials architecturally compatible with the <br />main structure. <br />
