EXHIBIT A SCOPE OF SERVICES BERNAL AVENUE BRIDGE AND STREET WIDENING FROM VINEYARD AVENUE TO DEL VALLE PARKWAY PHASE III, PROJECT NOS. 995067 & 005029 AND DEL VALLE PARKWAY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS, PROJECT N0.902028 Provide construction management services including; contract administration; construction inspection; and materials testing for capital improvement project: BERNAL AVENUE BRIDGE AND STREET WIDENING FROM VINEYARD AVENUE TO DEL VALLE PARKWAY PHASE III, PROJECT NOS. 995067 & 005029 AND DEL VALLE PARKWAY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS, PROJECT NO. 902028. PHASE I - PRECONSTRUCTION 1. ADVERTISE, BID, AND AWARD CONSULTANT will assist City with advertising, bid inquiries, bid review, and award of construction contract as required. PHASE II -CONSTRUCTION 1. CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION Administration -CONSULTANT shall perform all construction administration activities, including correspondence and document control on an as needed basis until completion of the project. Provide complete support services for field personnel, including office support and coordination of inspection, surveying, and testing. CONSULTANT will furnish all business equipment for CONSULTANT'S work, except as noted below, such as computers, and cellular phones; expendable supplies such as binders, pens, pencils, etc.. CITY will provide office space, furniture, fax machine, Internet connection, utilities, and copier at no cost to CONSULTANT. Reporting -CONSULTANT shall utilize Caltrans procedures and policies, and CITY requirements as necessary, regarding documentation of events, compilation of quantities, contractor progress payments, final payment, and record drawings. The required records pertaining to the job site staff include attendance reports and overtime records.
