9 <br />THE CITY OF <br />-• ' N• ° -~- ~"' CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br />j~L~E~AS~4NTONo <br />June 17, 2008 <br />Parks and Community Services <br />TITLE: APPROVE CONTRACT EXTENSION WITH AMADOR LIVERMORE <br />VALLEY HISTORICAL SOCIETY FOR ASSISTANCE AND SERVICES <br />RELATED TO PROGRAMS AT ALVISO ADOBE COMMUNITY PARK <br />SUMMARY <br />Staff and the representatives of Amador Livermore Valley Historical Society (ALVHS) <br />wish to extend the current contract for interpretive and administrative services for Alviso <br />Adobe Community Park an additional three (3) years, through June 30, 2011. The <br />extension would be contingent upon the City Council's approval of future funding for <br />each subsequent fiscal year (July 1- June 30). Compensation under the proposed <br />extension would not exceed $138,805 per fiscal year. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />That the City Council authorize the City Manager to execute the attached Amendment <br />to the Agreement with the Amador Livermore Valley Historical Society, effective July 1, <br />2008. <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />A total of $138,805 has been identified in FY 2008/09 for continuance of the current <br />agreement with ALVHS. Funding for fiscal years 2009/10 and 2010/11 would be <br />addressed as part of the Council's review of the Annual Operating Budget. <br />
