PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1527 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FILED UNDER UP-77-7. WHEREAS, an application for a conditional use permit was filed by Mark Lawrence for a skateboard park on an approximately 1.5 acre portion of the site at 7100 Johnson Industrial Drive; zoning for the property being I-G (General Industrial) District; and WHEREAS, a public hearing to review this request was held on June 8, 1977, when all pertinent documents, maps, drawings and testimony were reviewed; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made the following findings: A. That because of the nature of the proposed recreational ~- use, the location in an I-District is in accord with the objectives of this chapter and the purposes of the district in which the site is located which permits recreational uses as conditional uses. B. That the proposed location of the conditional use and the conditions under which it would be operated or maintained will not be detrimental to the public health, safety or welfare or materially injurious to properties or improvements in the vicinity as it is conditioned below. The use will complement the neighborhing re- creational use of Tennis Town. C. That the proposed conditional use will comply with each of the applicable provisions of this chapter. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. The Planning Commission approves UP-77-7, subject to the following conditions: 1. That the development be substantially as shown on the site plan, landscape plan and elevations, Exhibit A, on file with the Planning Department. 2. That the developer provide the City with a performance _ bond guaranteeing the entire removal of the skateboard park if it ceases operation, this bond to be approved by the City Attorney's office prior to issuance of a building permit.
