Resolution No. 86-285 <br />Page Two <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council approves the application of <br /> Callahan-Pentz Properties and Prudential Insurance <br /> Company of America to amend the General Plan Land Use <br /> Element designation of an approximately 10.5 acre site <br /> located generally in the area bounded by Owens Drive, <br /> West Las Positas Boulevard, a portion of the former <br /> railroad right-of-way of the Southern Pacific <br /> Transportation Company, and Tassajara Creek, from <br /> "Commercial and Offices" and "Public Health and Safety" <br /> to "High Density Residential", with the expectation that <br /> adjustments be made in the upcoming revisions to the <br /> General Plan which would maintain the 75%/25% <br /> single-family/Multiple-family unit housing balance <br /> policy or whatever housing mix policy is adopted as part <br /> of the revised General Plan, and with the condition that <br /> no changes in the North Pleasanton Improvement District <br /> be made to exclude this property from the North <br /> Pleasanton Improvement District as a result of this <br /> General Plan change.
