CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 86-285 RESOLUTION APPROVING GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENTS TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT FOR THE GENERAL PLAN CHANGING THE LAND USE DESIGNATIONS FOR VARIOUS AREAS THROUGHOUT THE PLANNING AREA WHEREAS, requests for General Plan changes to the Land Use Element of the General Plan have been made concerning various areas throughout the planning area, including the following: a. GP-86-1, Callahan-Pentz Properties and Prudential Insurance Company request to change the land use designation of 10.5 acres bounded by Owens Drive, West Las Positas Boulevard, a portion of the former railroad right-of-way of the Southern Pacific Transportation Company, and Tassajara Creek; b. GP-86-2, Prudential Insurance Company request to change the land use designation of 14.6 acres bounded by West Las Positas Boulevard, a portion of the former railroad right-of-way of the Southern Pacific Transportation Company, and the right-of-way of the Stoneridge Drive extension; c. GP-86-4, Leroy and Rose Carrera request to change the land use designation of 11,700 sq. ft. at 856 Palomino Drive; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held public hearings on all of these proposed changes and has made recommendations concerning same; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on June 17, 1986, at which time the City Council reviewed the proposed General Plan amendments covering various areas throughout the planning area and considered all reports, documents, testimony, and recommendations; and WHEREAS, Negative Declarations were adopted for the proposed changes covered in GP-86-1, GP-86-2, and GP-86-4; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to make comprehensive changes to the Land Use Element of the General Plan at this time as one of the four times during the calendar year such changes may be made; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
