It is
in good shape and all the original details have been preserved. I have enjoyed looking at this house from my
front yard for 25 years. (I live on Second Street). I don't know if a rezoning of the property would allow this house
to be torn down or not. May it never be!
What benefit would our neighborhood realize by rezoning the property in question from Multiple-Family
Resendential to Planned Unit Developement? It seems to me the benefits would only go to the developers. Why
should developers be awarded rezoning of their property just so they can make more money? What justification
is their to arbitarily change zoning besides this?
If the developers want to go ahead with a new project in the back of the lot, let them do it, as long as the
historical house is preserved. Their is no reason to change the zoning of this property!
Sincerely,
Robb & Patty Carey
4326 Second Street
Pleasanton
4/16/2008
