b. New CitE or Additional Streets. New City or <br /> additional"~treets mileage in excess of 479 miles added to <br /> this Agreement pursuant to Section 2(b) shall be compensated <br /> at the rate of Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) per curb mile per <br /> number of times swept per month. <br /> <br /> c. City Parking Lots. Parking areas shall be <br /> compensated at the following monthly rates: <br /> <br /> Peters Avenue Municipal Lot $ 45.00 <br /> Century House Lot 35.00 <br /> Amador Community Park Lot 50.00 <br /> Pleasanton Recreation and Sports Park Lot 130.00 <br /> <br /> d. Special Events and Emergency Calls. Additional <br /> sweeping undertaken pursuant to Section 3(e) shall be <br /> compensated at the rate of Sixty Dollars ($60.00) per hour. <br /> Any such work shall have a minimum charge of Sixty Dollars <br /> ($60.00). <br /> <br /> e. The Contractor shall bill the City by invoice <br /> monthly, showing by the above categories and itemizing by <br /> date, special event and/or location of emergency call, and <br /> length of time required for subsection (d) above, the amounts <br /> due and payable, and the City shall pay Contractor within <br /> fifteen (15) days of receipt of invoice. The first invoice <br /> shall cover the first monthly period following the effective <br /> date of this Agreement and subsequent invoices shall cover <br /> monthly periods thereafter. <br /> <br /> 6. Term. The term of this Agreement, unless terminated <br />pursuant to Paragraphs 9 and 13, shall be for a period of three <br />years beginning on the date of execution of this Agreement. <br /> <br /> 7. Water Use. The Contractor shall provide sufficient <br />water for the street sweeping equipment. Water will be made <br />available by the City and shall be metered and paid for by the <br />Contractor in accordance with then existing City regulations. <br /> <br /> 8. Complaints. The Contractor shall maintain a record of <br />complaints concerning the Contractor's performance of this <br />AGreement, both those directed to the Contractor directly and <br />those forwarded to the Contractor by City personnel. The <br />Contractor sha].l investigate the circumstances surrounding such <br />complaints and shall report to the Director, within three (3) <br />days of receipt of any complaint, any action or procedure taken <br />with respect to such complaint. <br /> <br /> 9. Insurance. The Contractor further agrees to fulfill the <br />following: <br /> <br /> a. Provide a Certificate of Insurance issued to the <br /> City of Pleasanton from his insurance carrier providing proof <br /> of Worker's Compensation and Policy Number. <br /> <br /> - 5 - <br /> <br /> <br />
