PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-87-51 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE PUD-80-2-5D, <br />THE APPLICATION OF BERNAL AVENUE ASSOCIATES <br />WHEREAS, Bernal Avenue Associates has applied for design review <br />approval to construct a four-building, approximately <br />115,000 sq. ft. office complex, to be located on an <br />approximately 9.2 acre site, located generally in the <br />area bounded by I-680, the Arroyo Del Valle, and Koll <br />Center Parkway; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Industrial/Commercial and Offices <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of May 13, 1987, <br />the Planning Commission reviewed all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report was prepared for the <br />rezoning and development plan approval for the business <br />park complex in which this project is located. A <br />project of this nature was included in the scope of that <br />EIR. Therefore, no environmental document accompanied <br />this application. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Approves Case PUD-80-2-5D, application of Bernal <br />Avenue Associates for design review approval to <br />construct a four-building, approximately 115,000 sq. ft. <br />office complex, to be located on an approximately 9.2 <br />acre site, located generally in the area bounded by <br />I-680, the Arroyo Del Valle, and Koll Center Parkway <br />subject to the following conditions: <br />1. That the development shall substantially conform to <br />the plans and elevations on file with the Planning <br />Department except as modified herein. <br />2. That the development shall be subject to all <br />conditions of approval of PUD-80-2-2M. <br />3. That a final landscaping plan for the project shall <br />be submitted to the Planning Director for review <br />approval prior to the issuance of a building permit <br />and that such a plan shall include the meandering <br />pedestrian pathway along the eastern boundary of <br />- 1 - <br />
